Leftover Creations ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Leftover Creations mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the username (handle) you choose. We use an authentication provider (Supabase) to securely manage sign-in.
Content You Provide. This includes the photos of your food/leftovers you upload, the ingredients you enter, the dishes ("creations") you generate and save, and any posts you choose to share to the community feed.
Purchase Information. If you subscribe to Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and to know whether your subscription is active. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — Apple handles payment.
Usage Information. We keep basic counts (such as how many creations you generate per day) to enforce free-tier limits and operate the App.
We do not collect nutrition, calorie, or health data, and we do not use advertising trackers.
We use your information to: create and manage your account; generate dish ideas, photos, and instructions from the ingredients and photos you provide; save your creations and favorites; show and let you share content in the community feed (only content you choose to post); provide and manage Premium subscriptions; enforce usage limits and keep the App working; and respond to support requests.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the App: Supabase (secure database, authentication, and image storage); Anthropic (Claude) (AI that turns your ingredients and photos into dish ideas and instructions); fal.ai (AI that generates dish images); and RevenueCat and Apple (subscription and payment processing). These providers process data only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information.
Community content. When you choose to post a creation to the community feed, that content (including the dish photo, name, and your handle) becomes visible to other users of the App. Don't post anything you wish to keep private.
Photos you take or upload are sent to our service providers solely to identify ingredients and generate your dishes, and are stored so your creations display correctly. Shared images include a "Leftover Creations" watermark.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Profile → "Delete account"), or by emailing us at the address below. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations.
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
